Omar is a seasoned executive and investment banker with a career spanning over 20 years.  Most recently, Omar was the CEO of Fawaz Alhokair Group,  Cenomi, the largest mall operator and retailer in Saudi Arabia. He also served as CEO of Saudi listed Batic Logistics. Prior to his executive tenures, Omar was an investment banker and held the title of CEO Goldman Sachs Saudi Arabia, where he led the firm’s investment banking practice and prior to that he headed KSA Investment Banking at Barclays Capital. Mr. Almohammady began his career at Saudi Aramco in 2002, working in Corporate Planning’s Oil & Energy Outlook. Team. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in the U.S.

Adam Jones is the Executive Vice President and Division President for West Arabia at Mastercard, leading the company’s efforts to advance digital transformation, build a robust payments ecosystem and boost financial inclusion in the region.

As a member of the EEMEA executive leadership team, Adam was instrumental in securing a strategic partnership with Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) to promote Saudi Arabia’s billion-dollar gaming industry by bringing innovative financial solutions to the Kingdom’s gamers.

Under Jones’s leadership, Mastercard’s former MENA Central cluster has made great strides in advancing digital transformation and building a robust payments ecosystem. Mastercard played an instrumental role in the partnership with the Egyptian Banks Company (EBC) and Central Bank of Egypt, aimed at supporting the implementation of tokenization by providing the required infrastructure to issuing banks across the country.

He also led the collaboration with Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) to develop a payment ecosystem digitization blueprint for the country. Adam Jones’ achievements also include spearheading initiatives in Saudi Arabia together with leading banks such as The Saudi National Bank launching Mastercard Touch Card and SNB Flexi Card powered by Mastercard Installments, both the first of their kind in the Kingdom.

Previously, Adam served as the Senior Vice President, Travel & Expense (T&E), where he oversaw the company’s strategy and platforms in the commercial T&E space, and as Country Manager, East Africa.

Adam joined Mastercard as the Vice President and Head of Commercial Products for the Middle East and Africa, responsible for products and sales.

Earlier, Adam was the Head of Commercial Business at American Express Middle East and North Africa, based in Dubai. He started with American Express in London as a Global Account Manager and then went on to manage the commercial arms of their joint ventures in Belgium and Switzerland.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Solent University in Southampton, UK.

Dr. Hassounah has over 43 years of experience in engineering, planning, corporate advisory, banking, investment banking, and asset management services in various academic and non-academic positions in Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the UK.

Imad is a Founding Partner and Fund Manager of Amwal Capital Partners – a MENA focused asset manager focusing on the MENA region with investments across asset classes including public equities, fixed income and private credit.

Prior to launching Amwal Capital Partners, Imad was a project manager with McKinsey & Company based out of their Dubai office from 2008 onwards where he led projects across multiple sectors including retail, mining, pharmaceutical, banking, family businesses, infrastructure and others. His work spanned across the MENA region with a special focus on Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Kuwait. He worked on topics ranging from strategy to operations and corporate finance. Imad has also previously worked in the construction and manufacturing sectors.

Imad holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship Management. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut where he graduated with Distinction.

Muhannad has over 25 years of experience in the FinTech, eCommerce, gaming, and payment industries, having successfully grown the business of OneCard, a leading regional alternative payment mechanism between 2004 and Feb 2010. During his tenure at OneCard, Muhannad has spearheaded the development of the online payment and eCommerce industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), working successfully with international and regional players, provide alternative payment solutions for them, assist, and provide support in localizing them and adapting them to the MENA culture, as well as providing them with a suite of value-added services such as support centers and marketing. Prior to joining OneCard, Muhannad worked at Maktoob, the leading regional portal recently acquired by Yahoo as the Business Development Manager of Souq.com, an online auction service that later morphed into Souq.com, and remains the leading online auction service in the MENA region. Prior to Maktoob, he held sales and marketing management positions at eSolution, a local web development company in Amman, Jordan.

 

Muhannad is a certified eCommerce Consultant “CEC” and Project Manager eBusiness (PME) and holds an MBA in Management and International Business from NYIT and a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from Princess Sumayya University in Amman, Jordan.

With more than 10 years of experience in the technology sector, Abdullah manages several technology investments across asset classes. He is the Founding Partner and CEO of Merak Capital, a licensed asset management firm by the CMA of Saudi Arabia, focused on technology investments across asset classes. Abdullah is also the founder of iNet Fund, a regional VC fund for technology and FinTech ventures, and the Chairman of HyperPay (Riyadh, KSA) the largest online payment gateway in KSA and the GCC. He is also a board member of several technology ventures across the MENA region.

Previous to current responsibilities, Abdullah worked with Merrill Lynch (USA), Cisco Capital (USA), and Jadwa Investment (KSA). He is a graduate of the University of Miami (Florida, USA) with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and a Masters’ degree in Management of Technology.

Mr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Othaim is the Founder & CEO of Mad’a Investment. He is the current Vice-Chairman at L’azurde Company for Gold & Jewelry & Vice-Chairman at Abdulaziz Al Othaim & Sons Holding Company (ASO&SONS) amongst other companies. He previously held Senior Positions in companies operating across a variety of sectors including Retail, Banking & Real Estate among others. He received his Bachelor’s degree in finance from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, United States of America.

As Seera Group (formerly Altayyar Group) EVP and CTO, as well as CEO of TaqniaTech (Seera technology arm), Abdulrahman is one of the most prominent technologists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a Board Member and a co-founder of Almosafer online travel agency (the largest in KSA), and a technology advisor for Careem throughout Altayyar’s ownership in the ride-hailing company (acquired by Uber). Abdulrahman engaged in numerous technology investments and M&A transactions throughout his 28-year career, both personally and at a corporate level.​

Before his role with Seera Group, he was Chief Business Officer and Executive Board Member for Etihad Atheeb Telecom Co. (GO Telecom), as well as part of its founding team. In Go Telecom, he successfully managed the company’s team throughout the bidding process for KSA’s second Fixed-Line License and won.​

Abdulrahman is recognized as one of the first pioneers to set up an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the Kingdom under Saudi Online Company in 1999, when the Internet was non-existent in Saudi Arabia.​
